The Schooner
This masterpiece measures 100 feet overal, with a 22-foot beam. Displacement is about 100 tons. Cold-molded from Douglas fir, the hull is 5 ½ inches thick, and the transom 6 inches thick. A ¼-inch layer of fiberglass sheaths the entire exterior. Sjostrom’s foremast is 68 feet tall, her mainmast, including the topmast, measures 92 feet tall, and her main boom is 32 feet long.
Yeah, this is one big boat!
Sjostrom’s owner / captain Doni, wanted the seaworthiness of Colin Archer design without the signature canoe stern.
He settled on the Bud McIntosh Appledore ΙΙ design.
Amenities
Built in 2008 and having undertaken a full refit in 2022, this 100 feet LOA (Length Over All), gaff-rigged schooner is one of the largest boats to be built in the San Francisco Bay Area in recent years.
We provide the unique opportunity of cruising aboard a classic sailing yacht with the comfort of modern amenities.
At an average speed of 6 to 8 knots, our yacht is perfect for slow cruising, allowing all guests to enjoy the beautiful Thai waters of the Andaman Sea.
Our charter aims to offer an intimate and luxurious experience, with small groups only, specially tailored to each guest.

Supporting them is our warm and attentive crew of three to four members, always ready to assist with anything you need - from serving meals and drinks to helping with snorkeling, paddleboarding, tour the island or simply making your stay more comfortable.
